LAMDA Exams

Solo and Group Introductory

For those young learners new to LAMDA and Speech and Drama lessons or those that have never taken an exam, these are a great starting point.

Both exams are non-regulated.

Acting, Devising Drama, Miming

For the budding actor or those learners that wish to develop their creativity, these exams could be just the right fit.

​

Acting - Explore characters in depth, whilst developing vocal and physical skills. As well as producing fantastic performances of their chosen pieces, the learners will have a deeper understanding of the context and characters within them.

​

Devising Drama - For those learners that want to exercise their creativity, these exams could be ideal. They involve writing and performing your own scripts with a list of themes provided.

​

Mime - Telling a story without the use of words. For those learners that want to express themselves with just their bodies and facial expressions.

Speaking of Verse and Prose, Reading for Performance, Speaking in Public

For those learners that want to improve their memory skills and find their most confident speaking voice.

​

Speaking of Verse and Prose - Learners will obtain a variety of skills including, developing a good memory and improving their vocal projection. This course will also expand their understanding of prose and poetry.

​

Reading for Performance - This is where learners get the chance to bring a book to life, using different themes to create unique performances. There is creativity in vocal expression and movement.

Speaking in Public - Learners will be able to create their own speeches, they will research a variety of topics and using visual aids they will present their chosen topic from memory or with prompt cards.

For those learners that love to act, dance and sing.

Solo/Duo Musical Theatre - Learners can perform on their own or with someone else. Bringing texts to life through singing and dancing is a fun way to explore and deepen the learner's understanding of a text.
